Trump announced that there will be a 100% rate on computer chips and semiconductors made outside the United States.
But its ad comes with an important exception: companies committed to manufacturing in the USA. They will not be subject to high duties, he said, softening the coup for some companies that work for manufacturing on land.

“Then, 100% of the rate of all chips and semiconductors that arrive in the United States. But it has pledged to build or if it is in the process of building so many, there is no rate,” Trump said.
The rate will probably increase the cost of electronics, cars and appliances, among other essential elements of the home.
