The severe storms threaten millions in the south from Texas to Carolinas

Multiple rounds of severe weather are aimed at a large southern strip this weekend. More than 40 million Americans are in the threat zone until Saturday night, which extend from Texas to Las Carolinas.

The harmful bursts of the wind, the big hail and the isolated tornadoes are possible with any severe storm that moves.

The earliest Saturday, the torrential rain hit Arkansas parts, including the Little Rock Metro that triggers sudden floods.

A severe storm line is sweeping parts of the southeast this afternoon, bringing strong winds and several wind damage reports in northern Mississippi and Alabama.

A severe power storm surveillance is in force in several states, including Birmingham, Alabama and Atlanta at night.

The potential severe weather occurs after at least nine tornadoes were reported on Friday in Texas and Oklahoma.

Pomel’s size hail was reported near Briscoe, Texas, with hail larger than the size of the baseball balls reported in other parts of Texas, Oklahoma and Colorado.

On Friday, winds of up to 90 mph were reported from a storm weather station near Lora, Texas, with winds greater than 70 mph reported by other storms in Texas and Oklahoma.

The threat of the storm continues on Sunday

On Sunday, many of the same areas affected by storms in the last 24 hours will be in the zone of severe weather once again.

The harmful bursts of the wind, the big hail and the isolated tornadoes are also possible.

Now a threat of level 4 of 5 has been issued, which indicates a “moderate risk” for parts of the southern Oklahoma and northern Texas, including Lawton, Oklahoma and Wichita Falls, Texas. These areas have the greatest risk of very large hail and destructive wind bursts.

Numerous severe electric storms are possible for the areas highlighted in orange above, under a severe level 3 of 5 level, indicating an “improved risk.”

The very large bursts of hail and destructive wind could also affect these places, which includes Oklahoma City and Dallas.

The threat of a severe climate will persist in southern parts to Monday, with Louisiana to South Carolina currently in the threat zone for another round of strong thunderstorms.
